2. The legal framework

LessFiltered operates under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP). Where our services are used by individuals located in the European Union or European Economic Area, we also apply the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a standard of practice.

3. What data we collect and why

LF Meet — 1:1 meeting tool

When you create an account with LF Meet we collect your first name and work email address. These are used to create and manage your account. You may also enter first names of team members within the tool. These are stored in your private workspace and are not visible to us in normal operations.

LF Inbox — anonymous team feedback

When a leader signs up for LF Inbox access we collect their name, work email, job title, company name, and information about their team submitted via the access request form. This is used to set up the service and communicate with them about their pilot.

When team members submit feedback via the LF Inbox link, we do not collect any personal identifiers. No login, no email, no IP address tracking is used for the purpose of identification. Submissions are anonymous by design.

Blog subscription

When you subscribe to the LessFiltered blog we collect your email address. This is used only to send you new blog posts. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Contact and enquiry forms

When you contact us via a form or email we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This is used only to respond to your enquiry.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies for basic site functionality and anonymous traffic analysis. See Section 7 for details.

4. How long we keep data

Account data for LF Meet is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion we will remove your data within 30 days.

LF Inbox access request data is retained for the duration of the pilot and up to 12 months after it ends.

Anonymous inbox submissions are retained for up to 24 months to allow for pattern analysis across periods. As no personal identifiers are collected, retention does not create a link to any individual.

Blog subscription data is retained until you unsubscribe.

Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell or trade your personal data.

We use a small number of third party service providers to operate the platform, including hosting, email delivery, and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by data processing agreements. We do not share personal data with any other third parties.

6. Data processor relationship

When an organisation uses LF Inbox, LessFiltered acts as a data processor on behalf of that organisation. The organisation is the data controller responsible for how the service is used within their team. LessFiltered processes anonymous submissions and delivers summaries in accordance with the agreed service terms.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies for basic site functionality, remembering user settings, and anonymous traffic analysis. We do not use cookies to track individual identities.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. For full details on the cookies we use and how consent is managed, please refer to our Cookie Policy.

8. Your rights

If you are located in Switzerland you have rights under the revFADP including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you.

If you are located in the EU or EEA you have equivalent rights under the GDPR including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability.
